The 9th Student Conference on Conservation Science heads to Hungary in September

The 9th Student Conference on Conservation Science Europe will be held in Balatonvilágos, Hungary from the 11th to 14th September 2024.

Organised by the HUN-REN Centre for Ecological Research, the conference offers young conservationists, students and early career researchers the opportunity to meet renowned plenary speakers and attend career-enriching trainings, workshops and field trips.

As a conference supporter, the Nature Conservation publisher Pensoft will present a Best Talk and Best Poster award. The award winners will receive a free publication in Nature Conservation. The event is also supported by Safeguard, an EU project for which Pensoft is a science communication and dissemination partner. The project is dedicated to reversing the loss of wild pollinators across Europe.

All congress participants are invited to learn more about Nature Conservation and consider submitting their work to the journal.

The journal offers special conditions and benefits for Special issues and Topical collections meant to collate contributions grouped by a shared topic or interest group.
