First eLTER Science Conference invites abstract submissions
The first eLTER Science conference will take place on June 23-27, 2025 in Tampere, Finland. It will be hosted by the University of Helsinki, and over 300 international participants are anticipated.
Titled “Towards a whole-system approach for ecosystem science”, the forum offers a rich program aimed at advancing our understanding of ecosystems within a pan-European network. Scientific sessions will discuss topics like ecosystem restoration, novel technologies in environmental monitoring, and integrated observations in the atmosphere-biosphere continuum. Policy-relevant sessions include carbon farming and studying the sustainability of globally embedded socio-ecological systems.
The conference will also feature a number of interactive workshops on data, arts, and co-design of services.
The Call for Abstracts and Registration are now open.
Abstracts can be submitted via the online ARPHA publishing platform until January 17, 2025. Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the eLTER Science Conference 2025 Proceedings.
Published on the ARPHA Conference Abstracts, each abstract in the eLTER collection will be indexed, registered at Crossref, and assigned its own DOI. Relevant multimedia, such as video recordings of conference talks or images of poster presentations, can also be uploaded and visualized along with the abstracts. Learn more here.
