Nature Conservation annual awards: celebrating our authors and editors

Continuing the tradition established in 2023, Nature Conservation once again recognises the contributions of its authors and editors through an annual award initiative highlighting the journal's most impactful research papers and most active editors.

The lead authors of the three most popular and impactful papers published in 2021, as well as the three most active editors for 2024, have been awarded vouchers for a free publication in Nature Conservation.

The most impactful papers of 2021 are:

Dániel Fróna et al. with Economic effects of climate change on global agricultural production.

Ana Manjarrés-Hernández et al. with Predicting the effects of climate change on future freshwater fish diversity at global scale

Jeremy S. Dertien et al. with Recreation effects on wildlife: a review of potential quantitative thresholds

The most active editors of 2024 are:

William Magnusson

Radosław Puchałka

Roger Ledo

The winners have been granted vouchers for a free publication in Nature Conservation.
